Fifth Gear Automotive Repair - McKinney

I needed an alignment same day and they were able to squeeze me in just in time. Despite my truck having modifications to the suspension, they still accepted to do work to it unlike other shops. The customer lounge was great, with all the snacks, drinks, the cool ac, and overall nice environment. They also cleaned my truck free of charge and were very kind. Not to mention the very fair price for an alignment, $129. Definitely coming back here for alignments and whatnot.

I had an excellent experience with Fifth Gear Automotive. They took great care of my Range Rover Sport, kept me informed throughout the repair process, and completed the work professionally. It’s hard to find an auto repair shop that’s both knowledgeable and honest, but they exceeded my expectations. Their customer service was outstanding, and I left feeling confident that my vehicle was in good hands. I highly recommend Fifth Gear to anyone looking for quality work and trustworthy service. Thank you for taking such great care of my vehicle! Five stars!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had an axle leak on my wife's jeep causing a serious problem. Took it to a local place to get repaired. They called me a day later saying they didn't feel confident in doing the job. The gave me the number to Fifth Gear Automotive. Dropped it off with them in evening. Next day I got a call from them on the progress, and also the plan for resolving the problem. Let me know up front of the cost. They let me know best, and worst case scenario on the cost of the repairs. . I agreed to it. Called me the following day, and let me know about the progress on the jeep. So the next day I called in the afternoon to get an update, and to my surprise it was ready to go. They even washed the jeep for me. All I can say is they are a top notch profesional company. Also very reasonably priced for the repairs. I will be bringing all my vehicles to them here going forward. I definitely recommend them to anyone who needs fast, reasonably priced professional auto work. Great all-around great experience. Staff was professional and pleasant to work with. They provided excellent service and even picked up/dropped off my car at work. I am picky where I have my Audi serviced and Fifth Gear came highly recommended by another reputable shop that doesn’t work on Audi. They didn’t try to upsell me on additional service and notified me of things to watch as I hit mileage milestones. I highly recommend!

Went in to get wheel bearings done, their inspection showed extremely clear and concise information with pictures and videos. During the inspection they found my driveline carrier bearing was also shot. Ended up replacing all three parts. These guys were phenomenal through the whole process, very communicative and didnt try to sell anything I didnt absolutely need. They helped me prioritize what to fix and they followed through in a very timely manner. I will be coming back here for any future repairs needed. I would highly recommend if you need your vehicle fixed quickly and correctly.
